Komponierte Kraftentfaltung - Saxophonistin und Komponistin Christina Fuchs hat für ihr aktuelles Album "Newton's Cradle" mit der WDR Big Band aufregende Musik komponiert, inspiriert von physikalischen Impulsen und Gesetzmäßigkeiten. Klänge von großer Lebendigkeit und bezwingender Energie sind dabei herausgekommen.

Hier ist sie ausschließlich als Komponistin zu erleben, denn 2014 erhielt die in München geborene und in Freiburg aufgewachsene Musikerin den WDR Jazzpreis in der Kategorie "Jazz Komposition". Die WDR Big Band führte ihre preisgekrönten Werke auf und das umjubelte Konzert aus dem Jahr 2014 in Gütersloh erscheint nun als Album. Ein faszinierender Moment der Kraftentfaltung wurde auf Platte gebannt.
